Les 27 et 28 juillet, à partir de 15h, le chapitre 2 du Museum Without Building sera activé avec l’exposition collective « Impeach Death ». Un commissariat de Haley Hughes et Forrest Gillespie, avec les œuvres de Tori Two Cents, Ben Mortimer, Rebecca Goyote, William Corwin, Eugenia Chun, Angel Favorite, Julia Samuels, Zak Vreeland et Haley Hughes. 

En début de soirée, les 27 et 28 juillet, Dome Theater présentera pour la première fois la nouvelle pièce de Forrest Gillespie, Five Mountains, Five Eyes ! « Impeach Death » s’achèvera le 8 août par une soirée de clôture.

Le chapitre 2 du Museum Without Building se poursuit avec Day de Dada le 10 août dès 16h. Day de Dada s’intéresse aux relations qu’entretiennent les artistes contemporains avec le mouvement Dada.   

14 août – 15 septembre 2019 : inauguration le 24 août, 14-21h

Rejoignez-nous le 24 août pour l’inauguration du chapitre 3 avec les interventions de Flora Moscovici, Laëtitia Badaut Haussman et A Constructed World avec Stephanie Lin. Le 16 août Bent Duo présenteront leur nouvelle œuvre, Ramble. Le Museum sera alors transformé en un lieu où se mêleront, performances, installations sonores et découvertes intimistes. 

Le chapitre 3 continuera du 16 au 26 août avec l’installation de l’atelier de Vyautas Jurevicus au sein du Museum Without Building. 

Une conclusion aura lieu le 15 septembre à 17h pour un hommage à Yona Friedman, avec une composition de Max-Louis Raugel (son) et Aida Rebull (vidéo).

28 août – 8 septembre 2019 : vernissage le 28 août, 18-20h

Lieu : The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts Project Space, 323 West 39th Street, 2nd FL, New York, NY 10018, United States  

L’exposition rassemble les œuvres d’artistes et collectifs en réponse aux questionnements soulevés par Yona Friedman avec le Musée Sans Bâtiment et son écrit Biosphère.

Avec les artistes Fanny Allié, Laetitia Badaut Haussmann, Théodora Barat, A Constructed World avec Stephanie Lin, Pradeep Dalal, Yona Friedman, Richard Jochum, Dana Levy, Flora Moscovici, Maria D. Rapicavoli et Nicholas Vargelis. 

Un commissariat de Sylvie Boulanger, Dylan Gauthier et Nicholas Vargelis.

Place: Le Petit Versailles 346 East Houston Street, 247 E 2nd St, New York, NY 10009, United States

Starting on July 27th and July 28th at 3:00 PM, chapter 2 of the Museum will be activated with the group art show “Impeach Death” curated by Haley Hughes and Forrest Gillespie, featuring the works of Tori Two Cents, Ben Mortimer, Rebecca Goyote, William Corwin, Eugenia Chun, Angel Favorite, Julia Samuels, Zak Vreeland and Haley Hughes.

Also on July 27th and July 28th at sunset, Dome Theater presents Five Mountains, Five Eyes a new play by Forrest Gillespie making its premiere in the Museum! “Impeach Death” will conclude with a closing party on August 8th.

Chapter 2 of Museum Without Building continues with Day de Dada on August 10th at 4:00 PM. Day de Dada explores the Dada Art Movement’s relevance to contemporary artists.

August 14th – September 15th 2019: inauguration August 24th, 2:00-9:00 pm

Join us on August 24th for the inauguration of chapter 3 with works from Flora Moscovici, Laëtitia Badaut Haussmann and A Constructed World with Stephanie Lin. On August 16th, Bent Duo will present their new work Ramble which transforms the Museum into a site of performances, sound installations, and intimate discoveries.

Chapter 3 continues from August 16th to 26th: Vytautas Jurevicius moves his art studio into the Museum. 

And finally, chapter 3 of the Museum concludes on September 15th at 5:00 pm with an homage to Yona Freidman composed by Max-Louis Raugel (sound) and Aída Rebull (video).

This exhibition gathers the responses brought by 11 artists and collectives around the issues described by Yona Friedman in his project Museum Without Building along with his text Biosphere. 

With Fanny Allié, Laetitia Badaut Haussmann, Théodora Barat, A Constructed World with Stephanie Lin, Pradeep Dalal, Yona Friedman, Richard Jochum, Dana Levy, Flora Moscovici, Maria D. Rapicavoli and Nicholas Vargelis.
