The Kempens Informatieblad are published by the artist on the occasion of each of his exhibitions or projects. The latter, for which the artist creates the graphics, are the only catalogs and bear the name of the region where he has always lived. By this gesture of publication, it is above all a question of creating an equation between personal and artistic action (making art) and public action (putting it into circulation). For the Kome exhibition (in 2012 at Cneai), Jef Geys has silkscreened all the covers of the issues of his journal, both personal and collective since 1971.
