This is a game of embedding quotes and references. Friedrich Schleiermacher is an 18th century German philosopher. A linguistics specialist. The latter was able to write: “every man who thinks freely, independently, contributes to forming the language”. The philosopher was cited by Pierre Leguillon in his 2006 exhibition at Cneai, then by the duo A Constructed World and the artist Mel Bochner.
The stake here remains that of translation, from one language to another, from one work to another.
