As part of the Thresholds of visibility exhibition, Aurélie Pétrel creates a work that plays on the manipulation of works from the Cneai collections. The new fragments that emerge may well open up new interpretations. Since photography is a reproducible medium, it is closely linked to the history of multiples and editions – works of art that are reproducible and doomed to be distributed to the greatest number.
