Friday April 2, to close her residency in Hong Kong, Théodora Barat presents the development of her research on city-suburb relations and electrical infrastructure in Hong Kong, on the occasion of an opening of her workshop which is accompanied by ” a guided visit to the V54 artist residency space.
Micromégas is a residency initiative for the next generation of media artists in France and Hong Kong within 2021-2022. The program will bring a French artist to Hong Kong and a Hong Kong artist to France for a 8-week residency to create media artworks inspired by the foreign city and culture under the theme Globalization . The residency is part of a new exchange program between France and Hong Kong. The first edition will take place in Hong Kong in 2021, supported by the Institut français and co-organized by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, K11 Art Foundation, Videotage, and Cneai.
